UPDATE: MAY 19, 2017

The Port Authority has created a system to make it simpler for passengers to meet their FHV driver at Terminal B's Departure level under its new plan. There will now be a signage with numbers ranging from 1 to 7 across all of Terminal B's Departure level, posted on the structural columns in front. To make operations simpler, advise your clients which number column to meet their driver at. Please take a look at the graphic above.

There have been updates to the arrangement at LaGuardia International Airport.

Starting Saturday, May 20th, the new FHV Pick-Up Area will be closing daily from 10 PM to 6 AM. Those 8 hours the lot is closed, all FHVs will be able to conduct pick-up operations at Terminal B at the Departures level only

In terms of how this all will work, you can advise your clients that the last Green Route Bus will depart Terminal B at 10 PM. Traffic attendants will be stationed at the FHV Pick-Up Area until 10:30 PM directing drivers to Terminal B, Departure level. The FHV Pick-UP Area gate will be locked by 10:30 PM.

The PANYNJ will be placing additional traffic guards on both the Arrival and Departure levels of Terminal B to manage the traffic, and Port Authority Police, as well as the TLC will continue to conduct Hustler Enforcement in front of the Terminal.

The Port Authority will be distributing brochures to drivers at the FHV Pick-Up Area tomorrow, May 18th, and Friday, May 19th which will have details on the new arrangements. In addition, it will also be installing permanent signage on-site with varied information regarding the arrangements, as well.

Please let us know by clicking here if any of your drivers encounter issues with this new arrangement, and of course, as always, do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. As visual aids and more information comes available, we will be posting such aids here.
